I opened Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana in 1995 to offer laboratory practical courses aimed at learning all of the most important techniques related to the Goldsmith world. I am a lover of this craft that I started to develop as a hobby and then decided to make it into a profession years ago, when I founded my School.
I started with two teachers, three courses and only few pupils; now we have two schools in Milan and a twin school in Tokyo, Japan. During this years the courses have increased from three to twelve and have pupils and teachers coming from all over the world. The school has become a resource for all those who are interested in becoming professional goldsmiths and for those who simply want to pratice jewelery making as a hobby.
The secret of our success? Teaching the most beautiful craft in the world of course makes things easy, but we also do our best: I choose my masters not only on the basis of their experience but also considering their ability and aptness to communicate and pass it on: it is thanks to them that the School has been growing more and more in these years.
